This Privacy Notice describes how Khalifrex Global Services Limited ("Khalifrex") collects and processes your personal information through the Khalifrex websites, applications, products, and services that reference this Privacy Notice (together, "Khalifrex Services"). What Personal Information Does Khalifrex Collect?
We collect your personal information in order to provide and improve our services:
- Information you give us. We receive and store information you provide in relation to the Khalifrex Services, such as your name, email address, phone number, delivery addresses, order details, product reviews, and messages you exchange with sellers through our messaging service. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to use many of the Khalifrex Services.
- Automatic information. We automatically collect and store certain information about your use of the Khalifrex Services, such as your IP address, device and browser type, login information, the pages and products you view and search for, and interaction information such as clicks and page response times. We use cookies and similar identifiers as described in our Cookies Notice.
- Information from other sources. We may receive information about you from other sources, such as updated delivery and address information from our shipping carriers, which we use to correct our records and deliver your purchases.
Payment Information
Payments on Khalifrex are processed securely. Your full card details are collected and processed and stored by our service providers securely. We store only the first six digits of your card number, the card brand, and the cardholder name, solely so we can display your saved payment methods to you. We never store your full card number, expiry date, or CVV.
For What Purposes Does Khalifrex Use Your Personal Information?
- Purchase and delivery of products: to take and handle orders, process payments, arrange delivery, and communicate with you and with sellers about your orders, returns, and refunds.
- Provide, troubleshoot, and improve the Khalifrex Services: to provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors, prevent abuse, and improve usability.
- Recommendations and personalization: to recommend products and personalize your experience, such as showing you recently viewed items and relevant listings.
- Communication: to contact you about your orders and account by email, phone, or notifications, and to send you service and promotional messages you can opt out of.
- Fraud prevention: to prevent and detect fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of our customers, sellers, and Khalifrex.
- Legal compliance: to comply with our legal obligations, including tax, accounting, and consumer protection laws.
Khalifrex displays promotional banners on its own pages, but we do not use your personal information for interest-based advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
Does Khalifrex Share Your Personal Information?
Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling our customers' personal information. We share personal information only as described below:
- Third-party sellers. When you buy from a seller on Khalifrex, we share with that seller the information needed to fulfill your order, such as your name, delivery address, phone number, and order details. Sellers may not use this information for any other purpose.
- Service providers. We use other companies to perform functions on our behalf, such as processing payments, arranging shipping , hosting images, powering site search, and sending emails. These providers have access only to the personal information needed to perform their functions and may not use it for other purposes.
- Business transfers. If Khalifrex or substantially all of its assets are acquired, or if we buy or sell businesses or services, customer information may be one of the transferred assets, but it remains subject to the promises made in this Privacy Notice.
- Protection of Khalifrex and others. We release account and other personal information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Conditions of Use and other agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Khalifrex, our users, or others, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.
How Secure Is Information About Me?
We design our systems with your security and privacy in mind. We protect the security of your information during transmission using encryption, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in connection with the collection, storage, and disclosure of personal information. What Information Can I Access?
You can access your information, including your name, addresses, saved payment method display details, order history, and communication preferences, in the Your Account section of the website. See Manage Your Personal Information.
What Choices Do I Have?
- You can choose not to provide certain information, though some Khalifrex Services may then be unavailable to you.
- You can add or update your information in Your Account; when you update information, we may keep a copy of the prior version for our records.
- You can opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any promotional message or via your communication preferences; we will still send you transactional messages about your orders and account.
- You can control cookies through your browser settings as described in our Cookies Notice, though blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or checking out.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or close your account.
Are Children Allowed to Use Khalifrex Services?
Khalifrex is not intended for children. You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Khalifrex Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Your Rights Under Nigerian Data Protection Law
Khalifrex processes personal information in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and related regulations. Where applicable law provides, you have the right to request access to your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Conditions of Use, Notices, and Revisions
If you choose to use the Khalifrex Services, your use and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Notice and our Conditions of Use, including limitations on damages, resolution of disputes, and application of the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Our business changes constantly, and this Privacy Notice will change also; you should check this page frequently to see recent changes. Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Notice applies to all information that we have about you and your account. We will not materially change our practices to make them less protective of information collected in the past without notifying affected customers.
